• Compare risk factors for, and pathophysiologic features, of ILD and post-COVID-19 lung fibrosis
• Develop strategies for effective management of patients with PF-ILD who contract and survive COVID-19 infections
• Evaluate Post-COVID-19 patients for fibrotic changes in the lungs after recovery

Target Audience
This activity is intended for pulmonologists, internists, primary care providers, and other health care providers who manage patients with ILD and/or COVID-19.

Statement of Need
A lot remains to be learned about the long-term effects of patients with ILD who survive COVID-19 infections. Clinicians need to better understand and recognize the effects of post-COVID 19 lung fibrosis on patients with ILD in order to develop strategies for effective management of these patients.

Accreditation Statement

Maintenance of Certification: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.0 medical knowledge MOC point(s) in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC point(s) equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
